As a peasant girl with a single coin approaches the piazza fountain and prepares to make her wish, two dueling street musicians attempt to redirect the coin into their tip jars in this computer animated Pixar short that found the filmmakers and composers working in close collaboration. At first Bass slides up beside the little girl playing the same familiar tune as always, but when ambitious newcomer Treble adds a catchy string accompaniment the competition really starts to get interesting. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
