I was looking forward to a good supernatural thriller/horror. What I watched was slow, confusing and not very good. The explanation for what was happening wasn't presented until near the end of the movie, leaving the viewer in the dark. And even then it failed to explain WHY it was happeneing,...what were these "beings" after? And when "stuff" (and I wont say what in case you watch the movie) begins happening, why does the rest of the world go on without pause? WHAT!?!?! This movie seemed an indictment of our burgeoning technology and prooved only slightly more entertaining than watching snow melt.

This little gem of a movie pokes fun at suburban life, and is surprisingly memorable over the years. Compare to "Parents".

This movie had a good premise, but it was never explained just what caused the electric wires to act the way it did, resulting in the appliances going whacko. Maybe a little detail in that area would have made this movie more understandable. Just who, or what, were the "they" that was referred to? Like I said, maybe the movie would have been more understandable if that had been dealt with.
