Shadow: Dead Riot (2005)
Member Rating:
A supernaturally-charged serial killer rises from his prison grave to seek out the sacrifice that eluded him in life in Hong Kong cinematographer-turned-director Derek Wan's exploitive mash-up of women's prison films and zombie gut-munchers. As a child, Solitare (Carla Greene) managed to escape being sacrificed to Satan by the fearsome maniac Shadow (Tony Todd), but as an adult she may not be so lucky. Incarcerated in the very same prison where the devil-worshipping killer met his ultimate fate years earlier, Solitare is forced to fight her way through the prison ranks and earn her top-dog status among the hardened female inmates. Defeating her human opponents will be nothing compared to the challenge Solitare faces when Shadow returns from the dead to stake his claim on the soul that he was denied in life, though, and as an undead army rises from the earth to assist Shadow in his evil bidding, Solitare will find that it takes more than muscle and fighting skills to defeat an opponent with the power of ultimate evil on his side. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

the dead people in this movie were not so realistic and you could definently notice the fake dead people and at one part in the movie a women in prison kicked down a solid steel cell door (how realistic) and the pregnant lady she was tring to get help for gave birth in the middle of the prison field to a baby (the baby was played by a doll). I dont wish anyone the horrer of watching this film..........

Throughout this movie I asked myself that question..."why am I torturing myself to watch this". If you are into cheesy zombie flicks, than this is the movie for you. Poor acting, poor visuals, poor plot...poor everything.

Basically this is a women in prison movie with a supernatural serial killer. If your looking for hot babes in a shower scene you should go else where. If you're easily satisfied by any exposed breasts you may like this. If you're looking for hot babes fighting you should go else where. If you looking for some decently choreographed fights you may like this. If you're looking for good acting and realistic plot, well I think you can guess. This isn't half bad for a low-end "B" movie. The actings bad, the cast isn't very attractive, the plot isn't much, the effects are weak (and the killer baby is down right stupid) but it does have enough moments to make it watchable when you've pretty much seen everything else.
