Great story, characters, direction, and music. Wonderful performances. This thought provoking and potentially controversial film is not a typical Bollywood movie. The close friendship of the main characters is very convincing. These westernized and disenchanted college students are playing the roles of 1920’s Indian revolutionaries in a documentary, and at first find it difficult to relate to these characters. They are eventually inspired by these historical characters and events in the film to take some extreme revolutionary actions themselves, and their story inspires others. See the offical website at http://www. rangdebasanti.net for previews.

This is an outstanding movie. A must watch movie if you like the new ideas and concepts. Very well made superbly acted and the best screenplay ever. I am impressed with the characters and Amir Khan deserves full credit to make this one of his best effort so far. Credit goes to entire cast and the director for a brave attempt to portray a difficult subject with so much ease and efficiency. Hats off!!!! Don't miss a masterpiece

This is a great movie. I liked the parallels drawn between colonialism and, should i call it, the present form of it. I think the message is global.
