A very funny series! Full of laughs, I would definitely watch it again.

I was just 10ish when I watched this show because I was very excited to see an Asian American comedic family tv show. I only wish it had been on much longer than one season. So when I saw it on DVD I had to get it! The funniest character is by far the Grandma, followed in close second by Margaret. If they HAD to cancel All American Girl, then my wish would have been for Grandma to have had her own spin off show! Anyhow, a very funny series... although the last episode was kinda eh...

Probably a good seed of an idea to have a sitcom based on a Korean American families internal and external cultural experiences, but the writing is terrible, the acting is perfunctory, and there was nothing amusing or remotely attractive about this series. They needed to have some better updated concepts other than the old "All in the Family" and "The Jefferson's" type stuff. Too bad because Margaret Cho is really a great stand-up comedian. Stick to her X-rated stage acts and skip this dreadful piece of shlock.
