Good family fun, Eddie really has cleaned up his language, as usual he was funny in this movie too! The London Casting was pretty good, Anna Freil pretty believable actress, liked the music in this movie too! Not Eddies "Duece Bigalow", but just as fun! Stay away from drama or dramadies Eddie Griffen - you will always be best in comedies as you are a natural!

Not even Monique could save this movie. The daughter was the cutest part...I watched this predictable plot till the end to see if Monique could turn it around. Unfortunately, I'd rather watch River Dance for a touch of the blarney than this flick.

I always enjoy Eddie Griffin but he is no more a leading man than Eddie Murphy or Rob Schneider, as evidenced by this cute but muddled effort. The plot is absurd, but let's set that aside. The thought that this insular town would just turn itself over to Griffin's character is even a wilder absurdity. That said, the movie has some sweet moments and is definitely family-friendly. The Cornwall scenery is also beautiful, so all is not lost, just don't expect side splitting comedy.
