I really enjoyed this horror/ slasher movie. The beginning is a little slow and cheesy, but as it goes on it gets much better. It actually ties things together pretty well toward the end. Interesting characters and kills. If you like slasher movies this one is a good one.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie! A classic 80's-style slasher film with some decent acting and plot. Definitely some original kills in this one. Kind of reminiscent of Stage Fright which is another film that I feel was under-rated as well, a group of film-club students opens an abandoned theatre for "ONE NIGHT ONLY" to show an all-night horror-thon. They are visited by the writer and director of an old grindhouse film "The Possessor" where the final scene was tragically acted live instead of filmed. Why is this person, who was assumed dead after a fire in the theatre now trying to kill everyone involved in the horror-thon? CLASSIC, I tell you, CLASSIC!:) I mean, it's not Halloween (because Michael Myers is the BEST killer EVER), but certainly worth the rent for slasher lovers like me.

Blood: 1/2 Cheese Factor: 5 Acting: 2 1/2 Overall: 4 I had heard about this movie for sometime before I finally rented it, hearing about scary movie doesn't mean they're going to be good as we've seen in the past with such films like 'Audition'. Anyways I'm pleased to say that overall this movie was a fun, cheesy 80's horror movie that actually had some original deaths! If you're a fan of 80's horror check this out, just watch out for those large killer mosquitos!
