Soundstage: America - Live in Chicago (2005)

Soundstage: America - Live in Chicago (2005)
Member Rating:
As broadcast on PBS from 1974 through 1985, the concert series Soundstage presented white-hot rock and pop acts from all over the world, including artists such as The Temptations, Al Green, Benny Goodman and Bob Dylan, in one-hour increments. The program resurfaced to immense acclaim (with the same format) in 2003; one of those concerts, with the popular 1970s pop band America, is featured in this release. Filmed before a live audience, the outfit performs such era-defining staples as "Lonely People," "Horse with No Name," "Ventura Highway" and "Don't Cross the River." Surprise guests who perform with the band include Christopher Cross and Henry Diltz. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi

It was fun to go back and listen to the music of the '70s. They played all their hits and sounded surprisingly good. You do have to adjust your audio mode on your DVD player for it to work.

The dvd that was sent to me "America-Live in Chicago" did not work in my dvd player. I ordered the standard dvd, not the Blue Ray.
