I read Beowulf in high school and loved it, so I was skeptical of the movie, they did make several changes to the plot but the changes greatly enhanced the storyline. I've never said this before, but the movie was better than the book! We saw it in 3D, and the graphics were amazing! Hopefully this movie changes the industry's standards for animation. Overall great movie, fast-paced and full of action, everyone should see it!

I'm always a fan of Beowulf material, and this is no disappointment. this is not Shrek for kids, though I took my kids to it and they both enjoyed it. Its an adult feature that has profanity, nudity, and violence. See it in imax 3-D 4 best movie experience. Its a good presesntation of Beowulf where he is flawed in his lust for glory and not a typical perfect cartoon hero. i was happy to see the story play out when Beowulf is an old king and not just focus on his battle with Grendel, which is something I've never seen on film before only had read about. Great voice cast Ray Winstone as Beowulf, Angelina jolie, John malkovich, Anthony Hopins, and Crispin Glover. The sea creatures and dragon where amazing. not to mention Jolie, gotta give her props-I respect a woman who always will do a nude scene in her films-even if its a cartoon. Maybe that woulda helped A shark's tale-probably not.

I thought the new adaptation was wonderful. The actual creation process of the movie was fascinating. Overall very enjoyable movie.
