Great Sherlock Holmes movie! It's got everything a Holmes fan would enjoy: intriguing plot, mystery, and suspense. Highly recommended.

I wondered if anyone could adequately fill the role of Sherlock Holmes after Jeremy Brett and after watching Sherlock Holmes & the Case of the Silk Stocking was pleased to find that Rupert Everett is the actor to succeed Brett as the world's leading fictional sleuth. The storyline was also refreshing rather than retelling stories already on film. My only complaint is that Lestrade is portrayed as a simpleton and Dr. Watson & Holmes's relationship seems to be a little too strained at times. But overall, I enjoyed this movie and hope we'll see Everett reappear in another Sherlock Holmes movie!
