This is an amazing film. Amma does much more than hugging. She appears to be a tremendous source of good. She reaches out to the poor, and actively tries to help and feed them. She talks to people, and visibly cares. This film shows the world around her as well. I learned a few things. I believe that Amma places many Christians to shame. A worthwhile film.

This is an East Indian movie about the love and caring that eminates from a woman named Amma. The eminations are not visably seen but the joy that she brings to the people around her is evident. Those closest to her state that they can "feel" the love coming from her. This movie is a documentary though and gets slow at times. Much time is spent upon the people getting gathered around her rather than the result of her gift. For a person in this culture or interested in these subjects, the film is worth watching. For me it was very touching that there were thousands waiting to be hugged. We have a different life here in America. I was so inspired, I wished I could go and hug thousands of people too.
