I've completed Discs 1 & 2, but I can already see that the original UK version moves a lot slower and doesn't have the creative spice the US versions gave to the show and the characters. I was actually troubled during the opening of the first disc because things were moving at a snails pace and the actors were truly weak! By the second disk, they appeared to be stronger in accepting the roles each character portraid, but overall, I'm not finding the UK version half as exciting as I had anticipated.
The actors were good and the dialogue believable and quite cheeky but the main reason I rented this was to see the young Charlie Hunnan, who now plays Jax in the FX series Sons of Anarchy. He was cute then and he's cuter now!
Quite different from the American version. Lots of male frontal nudity.
Loved the American Version. Just watched the first episode. No desire to watch the rest. I would rather watch reruns from the American version.
