I wanted to give it 3 stars, but just couldn't. I don't think it's as bad as some of the reviewers say. The dog is cute. The acting DOES seem a little amateurish (for SEASONED actors...that IS bad)...but the movie as a whole is watchable...I would say though that small children would get exremely bored as it is VERY slow moving. My husband and I both thought it was "so-so"...but neither of us want to watch it again.

I really thought this was going to be a good movie, even if just for kids, my son did enjoy the movie and especially the dog. But, I had to keep myself from wanting to vomit from the horrible acting, it was so nauseating, I had to walk away several times. Don't rent it! It is not worth it.

Awful acting, choppy scenes, shaky amature-ish filming. The cute dog acted 100% better than Gary Busey. The fluffy dog on the cover of the DVD is what drew me to the movie. Don't fall for it. Look away.
