The first was great, the second was pretty good, the third added a fresh perspective on the series and was OK, not bad...the fourth with Ed Furlong was a piece of garbage...convoluded plot and horrible acting did'nt help..(Macy REALLY needs to stick to singing)

Wicked Prayer doesn't come anywhere near being in the same emotional category with the Crow movies of Brandon Lee or Vincent Perez. For one thing, it had to many side plots that went nowhere. All they did was clutter the main plot - vengeance of the Crow. Even when the main plot reached its climax, it was very weak in how the Crow took his revenge. The movie was a disappointment because there are some very good actors cast in vital roles, David Borenaz, Dennis Hopper, Danny Trejo, Edward Furlong, and others and their acting talent was wasted. It certainly wasn't their finest hour, but I don't believe it to be their fault that I failed to enjoy the movie. The story line is just simply bad. The dialogue is bad. It doesn't match the previous tone for the Crow. I recommend this movie to only the hardest of hard core Crow fans and that is only so you can say that you saw it, otherwise, it is a waste of your time.

This movie was a blend of ideas from the original Crow, but the whole is more than the sum of its parts. Despite everything that made the original Crow the greatest movie ever, this paldry piece left nothing but a hollowness and wondering how something with so many of the same elements could ever be so terrible.
