Ok first of all, the fact that it is japanese and uses english subtitles has no bearing on the quality of the film. If that's all you have to complain about, why write the review. That said, infection is not your typical popcorn horror film. The story is one you must pay attention to and think about in order to understand. Fairly linear as far as japanese films though, although if you're not used to them, it CAN get a bit confusing. Other than that, I thought it was very intriguing until the end, when they used the most overused (and overrated) plot twist ever used in murder mystery films. It was good until the last twenty minutes.

Again another great foreigh atmospheric chiller, that is lost on so many reviewers who claim they rate it lower because they miss the point and also don't truly understand it, but I always do. You need to open your mind and eyes people. GREAT MOVIE!

The beginning of the film is interesting, and as the film progresses, it reaches a point where I am no longer sure what's going on. The end is kind of mystifying. Maybe I missed some clues from the beginning...Overall it is still kind of thrilling.
