Member Rating:
Season three of the Wayans brothers' cutting-edge comedy variety series In Living Color features most of the familiar regulars along with two newcomers: Steve Park and future Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx. This year's crop of guest stars include Ray Combs, Debbie Lee Carrington, and Jonathan Taylor Thomas -- not to mention all those celebrities who appear "by proxy" in the comedy sketches (Pee-Wee Herman, Al Sharpton, Clarence Thomas, Jesse Jackson, Paula Abdul, Mike Tyson, Jimmy Swaggart, Michael Jackson, Connie Chung, Sally Struthers, George Bush the First, Hammer, and Michael Bolton). And, of course, such recurring characters as Homey D. Clown, Fire Marshal Bill, Handi-Man, gay movie critics Antoine and Blaine, and Anton the Wino show up in the series' various sketches, which during the 1991-1992 season bear titles like "The Fist That Rocks the Cradle," "Hour of Power Preachers on Trial," "Crazy Polident," "Rescue Whenever," and "Wilt Chamberlain Wall." ~ Rovi

I was furious to find that so many skits are missing from Season 3. All of the music parodies are gone and there is at least one skit missing per episode. One of my favorite shows of all time has been butchered into 21 minute episodes. One episode was edited so much it is only 16 minutes long. I'm sending a letter to Fox.

Absolutely love this show. The Wayans brothers do a fantastic job in comedy with the other comedians as well. Geniusess in their prime and very funny. I have been a Wayans fan and diffently can't wait to see more of them when they come!!!

Jennifer Lopez finally joins the fly girls. She sports a really short haircut & is all pre-diva/tanned so she is all pale white. Sean Wayans ceases to be called "SW1," stops being the DJ, and joins the comedy cast. He is replaced by "Twist," who for some reason actually looks like a real DJ & not all awkward, like "SW1" did. The fly girls get more sensual in their routines & they look a LOT cooler & more professional ... Oh & did I mention the intro? It shakes off its sophomoric/cheap look & gets more intricate in design & creativity. Jamie Foxx joins the cast; who would've predicted that Jamie would end up eclipsing all of the Wayan Brothers' on-screen careers? Oh and Marlon Wayans starts doing short appearances on the show. Damon Wayans, though, leaves the show on this season. A few of Jim Carey's comedy bits are very reflective of the times; like when he makes fun of Sen. Ted Kennedy & paints a ridiculously cartoon-like image of a social advocacy protestor.
