Forbidden love between a beautiful orphan and an eligible upper-class bachelor sparks jealousy and deceit in the family that took her in as a child in this period drama from director Bobby Roth. Fun to watch. There's real chemistry between Thomas Gibson and Cari Shayne, and the viewer will find themselves rooting for them every time they're in a scene together. Also, Brigid Brannagh makes a convincing baddie. A pleasant TV movie.

A true Louisa May Alcott classic...I LOVED it!! Always love Meredith Baxter, too; her portrayal of "Beatrice" is wonderful! Great family movie!
