I really enjoyed this movie "Some Things That Stay". This was a great story of a family facing the lost of their Mother a Father that finally finds his first break in the Art Industry; and a young daughter that learns she must grow up fast to help in her household. A true love story from the Mother and Father and the Daughter and her new found friend. I would buy this movie. The acting was GREAT!!!!!!! I loved this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now this was a movie that made me cry. Katie Boland played the character so well as a young girl facing losing her mother and the fact that she is in the prime of her teen years. Showing the compassion of the dead boy who once lived in her home was overwhelming. I love this movie!!

Katie Boland is a REVELATION. One of the most honest actresses I've ever seen. I really enjoyed this movie and hope to see more of Boland. I saw her in "The Note" and "The Note II: Taking a Chance on Love" and was impressed with her remarkable performances in both films. This film -- directed by her cinematographer mother -- is perfectly cast, and sensitively acted and directed. Slow, gentle, deep and real. An excellent film made astonishing by Boland's luminous performance.
