Victoria, I too, rec'd the wrong DVD 3 times B4 I rec'd the correct one. This one you want has Burt Reynolds at the begining, along with Jason Priestly as the "School Teacher", but in this one also the parents are die at the beginning too, BUT this one is "ABOUT A REAL WOLF" You, like me rec'd the 2003 verion of some "Subtitled" French movie about some kind of Invasion. NOT the correct one. The 2002 version is about a "Wolf" and how a boy finds a wolf and they "HELP" each other out. Don't want to give it away B4 you actully see it!! Tho I was not thrilled on HOW it ended it "IS" a good "Family" DVD. It has a LOT of Heart to the plot of what of you would enjoy in a "Family Film" So i hope you see this review and reORDER the 2002 version! "NOT BAD"

The story line is similar to one of the worst movies, "The Woods", except I loved this one and hated "The Woods". Burt Reynolds was very good and I was pleased that he was cast in this movie. The young man who played the leading role was subperb and the wolf deserves praise too.

The idea of the story was great. Burt Reynolds acting was great, but didn't care for the young boy's acting at all.
