COMPLETELY disagree with the nay sayers. There is a good story here, with continuity. There is a cursed Plantation related to torture of slaves, an incident 20 years ago at the plantation, and a present day incident, the scope of the movie. A guy is doing his thesis on the cursed property, and brings his friends and thesis helpers to do research at the plantation. At that point "the games begin." The movie was suspensful, and even scary a couple of times. It is very hard for me to ever feel even just a little fear, but this movie did a good job for the most part just tickling that nerve. I see LOTS of low budget horror movies, and this is one of the better ones.

Reading the plot made is sound pretty good. Movie had bad acting and directing. Looked very low budget. Watching college students get killed off one by one is usally interesting to me. This movie was boring. The story was weak. Only watch it if you absolutely nothing better to do.

It was hard to get into this movie and pretty slow throughout. The acting seemed alright, the plot was weak. I wish Ashley Scott would do more films though, she's great.
