I love David Hewlett and I checked this movie out because of him. I really liked this movie. For something where most of the film is just two guys and their house, it’s really funny and shows how even best friends can drive each other mad. I wish I could hate away the world. Or at least a co-worker or two.

This movie stays with you a long time-It was funny and strange and very much worth watching. The same guys who did "The Cube" did this-starred in it too-VERY DIFFERENT and fun fun fun.

NOTHING is quite something, though you'll have to stick with it awhile to reap full benefits. It grows loonier, funnier and more bizarre (but intelligent) as it moves along. Its themes--male bonding/competition, jealousy, responsibility, life and its discontents (among others)--make it a sure-fire "watch" for guys (maybe for some gals, too). Director and co-writer (with one of the film's stars Andrew Miller) Vincenzo Natali has now made three fine films with a sci-fi/hallucinatory bent: "Cube," "Cypher" and this one. I wonder when Natali's gonna get his due as a director to watch and appreciate? Perhaps the fact that he is Canadian (and consequently considered beneath the radar of too many American "critics") might account for this oversight. Get over it, America: Canada has a lot to offer but, of course, one must know how and where to look for it. "Nothing" might be a good place to begin. And if you do, for heaven's sake, stick around for the final, post-credits joke.
