This would only really appeal to computer people, But the other reviews of this movie are incorrect Kevin Mitnick was one of the greatest hackers/ social engineers of or time. Google Kevin Mitnick before watching this movie it will be 50 times better!

I really did think for a moment I had rented a re-release of a much older movie. I like Skeet Ulrich's acting, so he was up to par, as well as the other actors. Since I did not recall this happening in the past, it was all new to me, so I thoroughly enjoyed the intrigue. Good story, mild drama, I recommend it.

Although I do remember the events this movie is based upon, I don't think it is really something most people would enjoy living again in a movie. In a nutshell, an inmature computer hacker with an attitude tries and succeeds in jacking government servers. Although clever, the hacker is an ass and by the end of the movie you really want to see big brother catch him. If you are looking for really cool special effects, forget it. This is DOS, so drama is all you will get.
