I thought this was a great movie. Very sad to see a man, any man, treated like he was, but it also shows you what a man who is not afraid to stand up and do what he thinks is right, can accomplish. I recommend it highly.

This is a real rags to riches to rags....Very enlightning about the racial divide amongst all races. His love for white women angered the blacks as well as the whites. His confidence/arrogance endangered the lives of many including his own. Well worth the rent.

Thi documentary was well done. Even though we weren't really interested in boxing, we watched it so my daughter can say she's seen verything Alan Rickman has done except for his "R" rated movies. She really enjoyed this as a history lesson as the struggle between blacks and whites more so than the bio of the boxer. She gave the documentary 4stars, I gave it 2 - so used the3 to average our ratings. (And Alan Rickman only spoke 1 line in the movie)
