Sammi Cheng (Cheng Sau-Man) plays Yau, a woman who never wanted to be a chef, but after her mother died she took over her restaurant. Jerry Yan (Yan Cheng Xu) plays her assistant, Ho, who has a huge crush on her. Yau is uninspired when it comes to cooking, but her food is still acclaimed. She has no courage in herself and relies on cookbooks her Mom made that sort of look like scrapbooks. Ho tries to be supportive, but help her find herself as a chef. Yau's ex-boyfriend from 5 years prior, Chun Yao, played by Andy Lau (Lau Tak-Wah), reappears and she still feels for him. She's confused and hurt when he is dating one of her good friends, May, played by Maggie Q (Maggie Quigley). Romance confusion progresses from there. If you like romantic comedies, F4, or any other the actors, you will like this.

This film had potential but failed to come through. Beautiful scenes and a possible plot took last place as the director placed much greater emphasis on beautiful people strutting their stuff in expensive clothes and priceless hair styles. I could not recommend this film to even my Asian friends.
