G.G. Allin: Raw, Brutal, Rough & Bloody - The Best of 1991 Live (1991)
My RatingSynopsis of G.G. Allin: Raw, Brutal, Rough & Bloody - The Best of 1991 Live
In the fall of 1991, only a few months after he completed a term in prison for allegedly setting a woman on fire, G.G. Allin and his band the Murder Junkies set out on a tour that set a new standard in raw, unapologetically degenerate punk rock crudity, complete with violence, nudity, bloodshed, and constant abuse of drugs, alcohol, microphones, and fresh fruit. Three complete shows from that tour -- a September 27th date in San Diego, the October 10th show in Chicago, and an Atlanta gig on November 20th -- are featured on G.G. Allin: Raw, Brutal, Rough & Bloody - The Best of 1991 Live, a home video collection assembled with the cooperation of Allin's brother (and the Murder Junkies' bassist) Merle Allin. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
