Troubled artist Karen and unfulfilled yuppie Kyle are both nearing breaking points in their disjointed lives. Meeting by chance one night on a bus, the two are mugged and left for dead, only to awaken having been brought to an abandoned church by a kind passerby. They come to with no memory of who they are, and with an emotional clean slate, they fall in love.
