Vicki Zhao takes a big step backwards in her career in this empty waste of time. This is probably a good example of a Hong Kong or mainland Chinese movie that would still be passed over even if it was on TV. There's nothing funny, dramatic or romantic. The movie was probably thrown together in a few days. The acting, directing and writing were bad. Regardless of the language choice, dubbing was always noticeably distracting. If you choose Mandarin, Vicki Zhao speaks Mandarin natively and everyone else is dubbed. If you choose Cantonese, Vicki Zhao is dubbed and everyone else speaks Cantonese natively. The subtitles suffered from poor translation and grammar. The audio defaults to Dolby Digital 5.1 and makes good, but infrequent use of surround sound. As for extras, there's a "Stars' Files" option containing filmographies for the two main characters, a "Making Of" featurette (8:34 min), a "Photo Gallery" and trailers for two other movies. Not recommended.

This was a good movie, and it was actually pretty funny. I LOVE the scene when he went back to his apartment (or his g/f apartment?!) and Zhang Ning and the hairdressers g/f's "lover" are introducing themselves under the table. Haha... great movie, and love the main actor... although as I warned before with chinese movies, if you are not familiar with chinese comedy, this is not the same comedy as american comedy so... but it is still pretty funny.
