The Louisiana Bayou can be a dangerous place, but it's not just the gators that you need to watch out for anymore! When a series of horribly mutilated bodies are discovered along the river bank, authorities soon discover that a school of gigantic genetically engineered snakehead fish have found a new home in the previously calm waters. In addition to having a hearty appetite for human flesh, these powerful fish have been crossbred with a deadly snake -- giving them the terrifying ability to stalk their prey in and out of the water. When these man-eating mutants can stalk man in his natural environment, it's only a matter of time before humans move one step down on the food chain. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

I am from the Louisiana Bayou, so I was interested in seeing the action on the bayou. I thouroughly enjoyed this movie and I think it would be great viewing it on Halloween. The acting is good, the storyline is good and it has some interesting characters, parts of it actually scared me... what more do you want in a horror flick, !?! I would absolutely recommend this video to a friend,... friends Check it Out!

Exciting at times, stupid at other. A typical SyFy movie about a man eating fish in the bayou.

This film will never win over critics or wow mainstream audiences, but for a group of friends looking to have fun watching a bad movie it doesn't get any better. You'll be mildly drawn to the plot, you'll laugh at the dialogue and acting, you'll cheer as the writers pick off stereotypes in the protagonist group, and you'll be baffled as you find out exactly what Frankenfish is... It's got everything you'll need in a bad movie: sex, lies, guns, minorities, voo-doo doctors, lesbians, a general lack of clothing, the Feds, action, water, and yes, Frankenfish.
