The great South American actress Norma Aleandro, in another wonderful performance, as a woman in her later years who comes to the realization that life is a smorgasbord -- ands finally gets out of the breadline (metaphorically speaking, that is). Aleandro can express more in a subtle facial movement than most actors do with their whole body. The supporting cast is fine. Well directed, nice scenery, and a lively soundtrack. In Spanish with subtitles. (You might also check out "Son of the Bride," featuring another brilliant Aleandro performance.)

Great comedy, particularly for Spanish speakers. Norma Aleandro's acting is a tour de force; the punchlines are in the little gestures, the subtle changes in the tone of voice. Great supporting cast, too.
