While on a visit to Metropolis, Clark Kent (Tom Welling) surreptitiously uses his superpowers to save a homeless man from being killed by a speeding car. Unfortunately, Clark's good deed is witnessed by corrupt police detective Sam Phelan (Cameron Dye).
