I love the Vacation series and LOVE Randy Quaid as Cousin Eddie, but this was such a bad movie. Not funny at all.

There is a reason movie studios release movies directly to DVD. Because they will lose money releasing them in the theaters and the bad publicity will ruin its DVD sales. This is one of those movies.

This might be the worst movie I've ever seen! My wife and I spent most of the movie staring at each other in disbelief. We only sat through the whole thing because we were amazed at how bad it was. As hilarious as the original Christmas Vacation was, this one was just as much unfunny and uninteresting. Randy Quaid couldn't even get a smile out of us. . . let alone a laugh. Horrible writing and horrible acting. If you're considering this one, do yourself a favor and just watch a middle of the night info-mercial.
