Daniel Millican's thriller A Promise Kept features Sean Patrick Flanery as police detective Ben Simms. After his wife his murdered by a serial killer, Simms partners with a rookie (Joey Lauren Adams) and together they chase down someone who is killing criminals who have yet to be apprehended by the police.
