Beautiful and engrossing with an interesting new take, for cinema at least, on the vampire - human relationship. More science-fiction than horror, although with a satisfying vampire "monster" needing to be staked! The world of this movie is so large and fascinating, my only complaint is I wish more of it could have been explored. I loved nearly every minute of it!

I liked this movie, set in a turn of the century yet modern London type city that runs on steam. A rogue Vampire breaks tradition and go's on a killing spree, His will is only to infect as many as he can with his bad blood. A good Vampire hooks up with a Lady Detective and together they try and hunt him down. The special effects are not the greatest but they get the job done... A very good movie for what its worth and well worth a rental.
