Gaheris Rhade (Steve Bacic), who had betrayed Dylan Hunt (Kevin Sorbo) three hundred years earlier (thereby launching the basic Andromeda throughline), is suddenly and unexpectedly thawed out from suspended animation. Dissatified with the status quo, Rhade intends to reshape the universe to please himself. Alas, these good intentions inexorably lead to a hellish situation.
