My kids loved it-they are nine-but adults will be a little bored.

The more movies Eddie Murphy makes, the less he establishes his acting/humor abilities. I was somewhat dissappointed in this movie after watching the previews to it, but I took the chance and this is my rating of it. The only clever parts were the "ghosts" in it...of course, the CGI's come thru better than the actors do, which shouldn't happen, but in this movie, it does. Eddie Murphy was better in Beverly Hills Cop 1 & 2 than this movie. Maybe he should stick to that plan instead.

Usually I do not care for Eddie Murphey movies because he is too obsessed with bodily functions and sexual attributes or the lack thereof. I had seen the previews and decided to take a chance on this one. He was his humorous self but this time without the off color remarks, etc. The story was good with a scary part thrown in now and again, a surprise twist here and there, a happy ending and a good moral about putting family first. Good light entertainment.
