Summoned to help their peddler friend Salmoneus (Robert Trebor) prevent a war, Xena (Lucy Lawless) and Gabrielle (Renee O'Connor) find themselves in the middle of a beauty pageant -- organized by the selfsame Salmoneus. At first convinced that it's all a false alarm, our heroines soon learn that a war is indeed on the verge of breaking out between three local regents, each of whom has entered a sexy contestant in the pageant.
