It is tough to find a good vampire movie, but this one IS a good one. While it is true that this version does not follow Dracula 2000, it stands alone beautifully, and is in fact a much, much, better then Dracula 2000. The cast is amazingly talented for a low budget film. All of the actors did a stellar job portraying their character's personal quirks and belief systems. This film is less about the vampire (though he is pretty cool) and more about various aspects of human nature and how people react when they acquire a vampire corpse. One thing I really liked about it was that the people made believable (non-stupid!)decisions consistent with who they were. Well worth watching, and no need to watch Dracula 2000 first.

Good Movie,But What I dont like about it,is that All 3 Dracula Movies,1,2,& 3,The Dracula is played by a different person,Dracula 1&2 Are good,But the 3rd left me with a lot of dissapointment & Desire,I Hope Dracula 4 is better!

It was worth watching one time anyway. I was disappointed that it did not follow the first movie. The first one made you believe that Van Helsing's daughter would be the star of the sequels but she isn't involved at all. The dracula was not very good either in this one.
