An outstanding movie. Has some difficult to watch moments between the father and son, but handles it well. Recommend to all who enjoy 'character' movies that show triumph over hardship.

Geoffrey Rush, Judy Davis always a winner, and a upcoming star of House.

My family thought this was a good movie although not suitable for kids--too much violence. The picture of Australia during the Kennedy years was wonderful.
