Joining forces with another group of survivors following a terrifying encounter in a seemingly abandoned church, Jim soon learns the truth behind the deserted streets and the menacing creatures that lurk in the shadows. It's soon revealed that the chimpanzees had been harboring a deadly virus that sends its victims into a furious, murderous rage, and in the days following the initial exposure, the entire population was nearly wiped out due to the resulting homicidal rampage. Is there still a glimmer of hope for humanity -- or has the deadly "rage" virus found its way to foreign shores and infected the entire planet? ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Post-apocalyptic movies hold a place in my heart. Aside from my bias though, the acting was great and the setting was frightening and believable. This is one of those movies where you squeeze your girl/boyfriends hand tightly when the action starts up. Very suspenseful and fun.

What's scarier that waking up all of a sudden and finding out that the city you live in is deserted, trashed, turned upside down and completely wasted? Probably a bunch of strangers screaming and running at you for no apparent reason. Oh, yeah, and they're trying to kill you too. An excellent story, a great premise and an easily recommended movie for all horror movie fans.

Opinions are just that, everyone has one and they aren't the same, maybe this movie just caught me on a bad day. But, I've seen much better zombie movies and considering all the hype this movie received I was sorely disappointed. I thought it was predominanatly boring, there were some good scenes, but for the most part I was easily distracted.
