Other than the strong language, Eddie was funny. Highly not recommended for children.

Eddie Griffin believes that the more a word is used, the less powerful it is. During this movie, Eddie decides to take all power away from the word n1gga. Every single sentence starts and ends with this word. I am not offended nor am I disagreeing with this philosophy, I just think it is annoying to say any word so many times for no other reason. Meeting Eddie's family was very interesting and may be worth the rental for that. The comedy is based entirely on racial stereo types, drug use and being assaulted. I was not able to find the humor. When I saw the Eddie Griffin walked onto the stage, I thought to my self: Eddie Murphy from the 1980s wants his leather suite back. I was a bigger fan of Eddie Griffin before watching this.
