Broadcast as a component of the ongoing BBC anthology Francis Durbridge Presents, this 18-episode series starred Jack Hedley as author Durbridge's famous protagonist Tim Frazer. A former engineer, Tim Frazer opted to use his knowledge in Her Majesty's Service as a secret agent. The series offered three serialized stories, each lasting six half-hour episodes: "The World of Tim Frazier," "The Salinger Affair," and "The Mellin Forrest Myster."
