Way to go Cory. I'll never listen to one of your reviews again. This movie completely sucked!!! Stupid plot, terrible acting, bad special effects, lame wire-work. I can't think of one positive thing to say about this movie. Even having former porn-star Traci Lords in this flick didn't help. Just another lame movie that sucks you in with a decent trailer. DO NOT RENT THIS BOMB!!!!

This was a wasted use of a decent license. Yet another example of an over the top, special effects laden film by Tsui Hark. The target demographic of this film was probably twelve year old males who like to watch American wrestling. Subtitles aren't needed, as the dialogue is mostly in English, spoken mostly by American actors and wrestlers. As the movie appears to have been created for a young audience, the dialogue is sparse and simple - action is the central ingredient in this campy mess. In the beginning, the use of special effects was mildly interesting, but near the end, they became monotonously distracting. The audio defaults to Dolby Digital 5.1 and makes minor and infrequent use of surround sound. As for extras, there's a trailer for the movie and trailers for two other movies. Not recommended.
