Bill Maynard returned as well-meaning bumbler Selwyn Froggitt, who left his familiar Scarsdale environs as the story opened to become entertainment director at Paradise Valley, a Yorkshire holiday camp. Pompous camp manager Mervyn Price (Bernard Gallagher) soon learned to rue the day that Selwyn came into his life.
