Hypochondriac Mona Bailey (Jane Adams) suddenly develops the ability to read her neighbors' minds. Rather than misuse her miraculous new gifts, Mona decides to use them to unite her neighbors against the mysterious corporation that is slowly pushing all of the tenants out of her apartment building.
