The living starship Talyn is swallowed and trapped in the gullet of an enormous budong -- an ordeal that no previous starship (or space traveller, for that matter) has ever survived. The crew tries to save Talyn, but is hampered by jealousy and suspicion within the ranks. Then Stark (Paul Goddard) hatches another wild scheme to rescue both Talyn and the crew -- a scheme which may literally blow up in everyone's faces.
