Synopsis of The Mary Tyler Moore Show: Romeo and Mary

Stuart Margolin, best-known for his work on the various TV projects of James Garner, guest stars in this episode. Introduced to Mary (Mary Tyler Moore) by Rhoda (Valerie Harper), cloddish Warren Sturges (Margolin) falls hopelessly -- and obsessively -- in love with Mary. Obstinately refusing to take no for an answer, Warren follows Mary everywhere she goes, bombarding her with gifts, proposals, and zany stunts -- one of them involving handcuffs. "Romeo and Mary" originally aired on January 27, 1973. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
