depeche mode is one of my all time favorite bands and their live performances are always great. however, this video is done in such a fashion that removes the "live" factor from the concert. (if thats even possible) If you're looking for a sweaty, emotional, and unexpected show, dont rent this. Everything in this video seems too proper, like a movie set and too artsy for a live music performance.

Best performance, best videography, best audio of any recorded concert I've seen. Compare this to Scorcese's (unwatchable) film of the Rolling Stones. Two ends of the spectrum.

I have been listening to these guys since Speak and Spell was first released. I was about 8 years old. Since then Depeche Mode has always been in my live. I have seen them in concert 5 times, even saw them on the Exciter Tour. But this concert was terrible. Dave had a hard time singing. The mix of the audio is off, the show looks staged and fake. Dave was sweating the whole time as if he was taking a shower on stage. I have seen these guys 5 times, and have never seen him sweat like that, it was weird to watch. Martin sang great, but some of his stage antics were really odd, even for someone that is as eccentric as him. Fletch looked even more odd than usual standing there doing nothing. I just saw them on the Angel tour, and they were awesome. Better than ever. Too bad this performance wasn't the same.
