In this made-for-TV sci-fi-drama, a group of brilliant young people are recruited to become part of the Wilson Emery Institute for Research and Development -- better known as W.E.I.R.D. At W.E.I.R.D., this staff of young geniuses take part in groundbreaking experiments that could lead to radical new advancements in time travel, cybernetics, and medicine. However, several of the young people involved are emotionally immature and psychologically unstable, and while many have altrustic goals for their work, a few have a more sinister agenda. W.E.I.R.D.
