I will always remember seeing this movie with my dad and two sisters when I was 12. I was terrified and for a year afterward, I had to slepp with my bed in the middle of my bedroom away from the wondows. I would not even walk past my bedroom window at night for fear of some big hairy arm coming through the window to grab me! The movie is a hoot now and is kind of funny to watch-it is dated. What a trip-very nostalgic for me. If you didn't see the movie as a kid and watching it again for nostalgia, you will not be impressed.

I remember this movie when it first came out in the early 1970's, I was just barely a teenager at the time. It is based on a true story about a BigFoot that roams the wooded areas of Fouke, Arkansas and always hangs around Boggy Creek. I've been to Fouke, AR more than once. I've never seen a sasquatch there or any other place for that matter. But the movie was fairly well documented and the producers and director deserve and pat on the back for this one.

Hi. My aunt lives in Fouke right across the woods from Boggy Creek. I was always scared as a child to visit, and to boot, there was a graveyard next door. I have 2 children now and just came back from Fouke yesterday. I told my son the legend on the way there -- he couldn't wait to go exploring.. LOL He has never seen the show, so I am getting it for him to view. I even took them up to the post office to take a picture in the Boggy Creek headless creature!! They thought it was too cute. Can't wait to watch it again when it comes to my mailbox!! I live in South Louisiana -- the Sasquatch legend lives here, too. Supposedly been seen by a few of my husband's family members in the woods near the river. You just never know, now do you?
