This is a good performance but not the one described by Blockbuster. This is a performance from the San Francisco Opera with Mirella Freni and Luciano Pavarotti. Most of the cast was middle aged except Gino Quilico, the Marcello. But they were young at heart and what a cast Not many productions could afford the luxury of casting Nicolai Ghiaurov as Colline. Performing the role only because his wife Mirella Freni was the Mimi.
